Finance is the lifeline of every business. Every decision that a business takes has some financial implications and any decision which impacts the financial position of a business comes under the purview of Corporate Finance. The course on Corporate Finance has been designed as a core course for students across all programs offered. The course entails the application of financial tools and techniques used to make decisions in four functional areas in Finance, viz., Investment, Financing, Dividend, and Working Capital Management. During this course, the students are expected to explore the central ideas and theories of modern finance. The course provides a framework for analysing finance functions in real-world situations. This course is a pre-requisite for advanced courses in Finance offered as electives.
